THE TOURNAMENT MODE
The first round will be played in two groups of five teams each. The first two places will play in the semi-finals for a place in the final. The first-placed team will play against the second-placed team of the other group. The losers of the semi-finals will then play the match for third place. The last two placed teams will play the match for ninth place. The other teams, third and fourth place, will play each other for places 5 to 8. The third-placed team will play the fourth-placed team of the other group - the winners will then play for 5th place and the losers for 7th place. The German women's national hockey team is in Group A with Czech Republic, Belgium, Türkiye and Spain.
